Part of a wider STC CCTV surveillance scheme, thirty 360 Vision Invictus TX cameras have been installed by integrated technology solutions provider, North, to provide 24-hour monitoring for car parks located across South Shields.

360 Vision Invictus TX cameras enable rapidly deployable surveillance for Plymouth City Council

 

360 Vision Technology, the UK manufacturer of ruggedised HD, radar and thermal PTZ imaging cameras, has been chosen to supply the camera surveillance technology for a flexible, rapidly deployable CCTV town centre network extension for Plymouth City Council.

Designed to cover hot spots of activity, both criminal and anti-social, the extension was required to tackle areas of rising anti-social behaviour and surfacing security issues at disparate areas around Plymouth. “We had considered a hard-wired permanent extension to the existing camera network to cover the required areas but were put off by the cost of this option,” says Stuart Venn, CCTV & Street Lighting Engineer, Street Services, Plymouth City Council. “Plus, many of the reports of criminal or anti-social activity in the areas concerned had yet to be confirmed, so a permanent extension was a big commitment without any guarantee of making a significant impact and benefit to each area.

360 Vision Technology, the leading UK CCTV camera manufacturer, will be displaying their latest range of Pan, Tilt & Zoom (PTZ) Predator Ultra surveillance camera, including stainless-steel and radar versions, at Highways UK, taking place at the NEC, 16-17th October.

360 Vision Technology ‘Hybrid’ cameras enable an economical analogue-to-IP transition for Plymouth City Council

 

360 Vision Technology, the UK manufacturer of ruggedised HD, radar and thermal PTZ imaging cameras, has enabled a flexible, CCTV town centre network extension and replacement programme for Plymouth City Council.

“Starting over 2 years ago, 360 Vision has assisted us to make a painless transition from an analogue camera network to an IP one, by the use of their clever Invictus Hybrid camera technology,” says Stuart Venn, CCTV & Street Lighting Engineer, Street Services, Plymouth City Council. “To explain, at the time, we were operating a completely analogue network and needed to replace some of our cameras that were beginning to fail. However, we didn’t want to just replace them with the same style of analogue technology, because we had a long-term vision to upgrade to completely IP transmission, once funding and the right technology became available.

360 Vision Technology Predator Radar camera collaboration secures 1-Megawatt solar farm

 

360 Vision Technology, the UK-based manufacturer of ruggedised HD, radar and thermal PTZ surveillance cameras, has been selected to supply its industry-leading radar surveillance camera technology to a solar farm site in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire.

Capable of generating 1-Megawatt of electrical power, the solar farm site was constructed by VARTEC EPC Limited for Lowther Renewables Ltd, to help offset the carbon footprint of its parent company, AJ Lowther & Son Ltd, which provides a range of steelwork, cladding and refurbishment services, including steelwork structures catering for manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, commercial and equestrian buildings.

360 Vision Technology, the UK manufacturer of rugged HD, radar and thermal PTZ imaging cameras, has been chosen to supply the camera surveillance technology for an historically important English Heritage site, at the Transit Shed, Exeter Quayside.

Installed by Select Electrics and specified by Derek Maltby of Global MSC Security, the inclusion of additional CCTV was required to monitor the Exeter Quayside area, covering the canal side, shops, restaurants, bars and attractions.
