Can we use your DVR software on Apple computers?
A question we are very often asked here at 360 Vision.
It's one of those hit and miss questions really............up until recently, it has always required a VM client or similar, and even then it needed bags of processing power to have the 2 Operating Systems co-exist
Enter 'Parallels' for Mac - an ingenious software package that allows a fully working copy of Windows (XP/Vista/7) to co-exist and run without any perfomance degradation on the Mac Apple OS X platform.
We have tried all of our software,
NxMS, VMS Sitemanager as well as the IP Camera utilities and all run very happily within a Windows, erm, 'Window' on the Apple Mac
We tried a Mac Book Pro running 2Gb Ram, Intel Processor, 320Gb HDD so pretty much any recent Apple PC is going to cut the mustard!
